As a provider of teletherapy services, my number one goal getting started with clients is to make it very hard for a client to miss a session due to inaccessibility. By providing multiple options for joining a session upfront, I've both empowered clients to choose a method that fits their home environment needs AND I've given them Plan B and C when that preferred method requires more time than planned.
Often, clients can join platforms by web browser or by app; likewise, they can join by computer or by device. But, be forewarned, you'll need a little bit of knowledge about what your clients are viewing on their side so you can direct them to click the right button, swipe the right direction, resize with the right number of fingers, etc.
Thankfully, most platforms give you a "how-to" for getting started with various systems directly on their website. Here are your one-stop reading selections for platform apps for multiple sign-on options.
PRO TIP: Don't forget about SMART TVs! If the TV is ON during your sessions, use it to your advantage and have the learning coach screen-mirror (or air play) a platform app from their device to their TV!
This isn't an extensive list, but hopefully will help lead you to the correct app to have your clients and their learning coaches download onto multiple devices for plan A, plan B, and plan C when being on time for therapy sessions!
